   I’ve been hunting upland birds for over 20 years, and the CZ Bobwhite G2 is hands down one of the best values in a side-by-side I’ve ever come across. From the moment I pulled it out of the box, it just felt right.

   The straight English stock is elegant without being fussy — it shoulders naturally and points like an extension of your arm. After a full day walking fields for quail and pheasant, my cheek wasn’t sore and my swing never felt forced. CZ clearly understands what a working field gun should feel like.

   The black chrome finish on the metal is a nice touch too. It’s understated, easy to maintain, and holds up well in wet conditions. I’ve taken this gun through some miserable November mornings and it cleans up without any headaches.

   The double trigger is the real star for me. Being able to select your choke on the fly — tight for a long crossing shot, open for a bird that flushes close — is a genuine advantage in the field that single-trigger guns just can’t match. It takes about five minutes to get used to, and then you’ll wonder why you ever shot anything else.

   The 28″ barrels give you a smooth, deliberate swing, and the 3″ chamber means you have flexibility in your load selection. Two rounds is all you need when the gun fits and swings this well — I’ve never felt undergunned.

   For the price, you will not find a more handsome, better-handling SxS. Highly recommend to any upland hunter who appreciates a traditional gun that actually performs.
